As part of Digital, Robotics and Enabling Technologies, our clinical applications team provides high quality software to ease and improve the pre-operative flow of surgeries as well as ensuring the link with core technology from products across Stryker including surgical robotics, image guided interventions, mixed reality solutions and patient specific implants.

We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated full-stack web engineer. You will contribute to design, develop, test, and validate novel web components to ensure creation of a complete ecosystem for our applications, leveraging core technologies within Stryker and cloud technologies to ensure scalability.

What you will do:

• You will design, develop and validate novel web applications from proof of concept to product in alignment with requirements and architecture defined,

• You will establish a working relationship with other groups across the organization to successfully implement business and clinical requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology,

• You will work in collaboration with the DevOps team to ensure proper deployment of the solutions,

• You will conduct technology exploration and influence application in the business,

• You will ensure on-schedule delivery of high-quality products that meet technical requirements,
  

What you will need:

• You have a Master's degree in software engineering / computer science or related discipline,

• You have 2+ years of work experience in web development field,

• You have a fluent level of English,

• You have strong experience in back-end and front-end web development,

• You have experience with one or several of the following frameworks/languages: Python, Java, React, Vue.js, Angular, Typescript, Node.js

• You have experience with cloud services either on AWS or Azure,

• You have knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Terraform and Ansible,

• You have knowledge of agile software principles and software development life cycle in a domain with strong regulatory constraints,

• You have experience in web-based development using WASM or similar technologies would be appreciated,

• Experience in WebGL development would be appreciated,

• Experience in medical software development would be appreciated.
