Senior Web Application Developer

Geo-Plus is looking for an experienced Developer to help us build new and maintain existing applications written with Angular and Node.js.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a college degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 6 + years of experience leading large design and development efforts

Strong expertise in:

• Node.js, Angular

• HTML5/CSS 3.0

• PostgreSQL, Mongo DB

• Automated Testing, DevOps – CI/CD

• Proven track record of successfully delivering high volume and high availability transactional applications under tight time constraints.

• Experience with Version Control tools like Git

• Experience with Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

• Experience with Microservices architecture.

Nice to have

• Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker

• Experience in WebGL

• Knowledge of OpenLayers

• Advanced 2d/3d mathematical data science processes

• Python

• Experience with iOS / Android development

• Hand on experience implementing DevOps

• Knowledge of security and privacy standards, and authentication protocols (e.g. OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSO, Keycloak integration, ..).
