Job Description:

We’re seeking a results-oriented Senior Software Engineer with a robust background in 3D modeling, CAD development, and WebXR technologies to lead the evolution of our all-in-one solar rooftop design platform. This role will be critical in enhancing our design hub by integrating data-driven solar placement algorithms and interactive simulations that improve user experience and efficiency.

Task: Instantly generate 3D roof faces, obstructions, setbacks, and panel layouts with just one click. While automation drives ease of use, our platform also supports full manual control for precise adjustments, providing the perfect blend of speed and customization for solar designers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of our solar design platform, focusing on creating intuitive tools for solar panel visualization and placement that optimize for efficiency, accuracy, and user engagement.

• Implement CAD model generation features that incorporate geographical, environmental, and building data to assist users in making informed solar installation decisions.

• Develop AI-driven algorithms for optimizing solar panel placements, factoring in variables such as azimuth, shading, and local climate data to enhance energy yield predictions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AR/VR elements into our platform, allowing for immersive user experiences in solar project planning.

• Maintain and refine the existing codebase, ensuring high standards for performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on CAD, 3D modeling, and AR/VR technologies.

• Proven experience in JavaScript, React.js, Three.js, and AI integrations, particularly within CAD or WebXR contexts.

• Expertise in solar simulation and placement algorithms or a related domain in renewable energy applications.

• Experience with blockchain-based applications or metaverse development is a plus.

• Demonstrated success in mentoring or leading technical teams, with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience working with startups

• Background in designing and implementing tools for renewable energy, solar applications, or similar fields.
