We are looking for a skilled software engineer with a strong background in TypeScript /JavaScript development, a strong grasp of performance optimization and cross-platform development, interest in cutting-edge technologies and enthusiasm to join our Location Services Research & Development team.

Responsibilities

• Creation of the next generation 3D web-based map offering with cutting edge technologies

• Design and implementation of mapping-related high-performance components for desktop and mobile use
  

Who are you?

Skill And Experience

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript

• Good understanding of software algorithms and data structures

• Ability to write clean and tested code

• Experience in maintaining large code base with long lifecycles

• Experience in developing multi-platform client-side web applications (mobile and desktop)

• Hands-on experience with object-oriented software engineering

• Experience in Agile software development (SCRUM)

• Excellent command of written and spoken English
  

Would Be a Plus

• Experience in computer graphics (Three.js, WebGL)

• Experience in GIS-related problem solving

• Understanding of web application performance optimization

• Experience with common JavaScript Maps APIs
