Senior Frontend Developer (iGaming)

Overview 

Are you a passionate coder with a knack for creating engaging and dynamic gaming experiences? IGT PlayDigital is looking for a Senior Frontend Game Developer to join our innovative development team. 

This role focuses on leveraging object-oriented programming and top-tier technologies like PIXI.js, Greensock, Spine, and Design Patterns. You’ll be pivotal in bringing our bespoke gambling games to life, working closely with our talented group of developers, designers, and sound engineers.

What You’ll Do

•    Develop and enhance front-end game features using PIXI.js, Greensock, Spine, and various design patterns.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality gaming solutions.
•    Optimize game performance to ensure smooth and engaging user experiences across different devices.
•    Implement and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented codebases.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely project delivery.
•    Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate and bring new game ideas to the table.

About You

•    Expertly skilled in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks, with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
•    Proficient in using PIXI.js, Greensock, and Spine for game development.
•    Strong problem-solving abilities and adept at optimizing complex systems.
•    Excellent communication skills, able to work well within a team environment and independently.
•    Keen eye for detail, ensuring the visual and functional quality of games.
•    Passionate about gaming and technology, constantly eager to learn and to drive innovation.

What We’d Prefer

•    Experience in the gambling or gaming industry.
•    Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
•    Familiarity with back-end technologies and database management tools.
