Senior 3D Geospatial Product Engineer - Maps SDK for JavaScript

Are you passionate about 3D mapping and building web apps?
At the Esri RD Center Zurich, we are looking for a junior product engineer who will help us to grow and foster the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript for 3D workflows. Our SDK empowers web developers around the globe to build compelling mapping applications.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team on new functionality for 3D workflows and visualizations
Gather and analyze requirements to ensure the SDK meets the needs of developers, stakeholders, and end users
Test the usability and functionality of the SDK
Write comprehensive documentation, code samples, and release notes to enable developers utilizing the SDK effectively
Gather valuable feedback and recommend improvements
Develop demo web apps to showcase the power of our SDK in 3D mapping
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in cartography, geography, geomatics, surveying, other geospatial or/and computer science, or a related field
1+ years of experience in JavaScript, ideally TypeScript, CSS, and HTML and keen to quickly learn more
Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) concepts and applications
Passion for innovative cartography and data visualizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm to learn and grow in all aspects of product development
Existing work authorization for Switzerland
Recommended Qualifications
Experience in quality assurance, test strategies, test automation and developing test scripts
Experience with writing technical documentation
Master’s degree
Existing work authorization for Switzerland
