React Developer

We are a technology company that builds innovative solutions in the field of GIS and mobile mapping with customers in 37 countries. We are based in France where we have multiple offices, but we do lots of software development through our Craiova office which is handling entirely the development of our cloud like infrastructure that we host internally.

To reinforce our R&D team, we are looking for a skilled Web developer which loves React. Mainly focused on implementation and improvement of our react based SDK and components, you will be working on the front door of our software chain by contributing to the design and development of tools that fusion GIS data into images or allow feature extraction which are delivered to users as web or mobile applications designed both for office or field productivity. You will be working on several projects within the R&D team, with a primary focus on GIS, mobile mapping and artificial intelligence.

The position

· The main mission of the position is to contribute to the design and development of our SDK like component designed to interact with the Imajnet cloud platform and bring the reality of the field to any GIS or CAD related solutions

· You will deal with all the technical elements involved in the SDK or the products built on top of it from UI to data exchange optimization and 3D projections into images

· The products that need to be developed and improved go from image and map enabled web applications to clever integrations into desktop solutions or mobile apps designed for use in the field

· There are always new demands and ideas that require good technical solutions and new technologies

Requirements

· At least 4 years of Web Development experience

· Fluent in English, even better if not afraid of some French

· Always ready to bring fresh ideas

Competences

· React, NodeJS

· WebGL (Three.js)

· Deep knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS.

· Love for crafting beautiful, well-tested code

· SCM & CI – Git, Gitlab

Nice to have

· Some knowledge & experience with Python

· Some experience with mobile app development

· Some experience in GIS/CAD with components like: Geoserver, Qgis, Esri Suite

· Some experience with Docker

· If you have Java server-side skills, we’ll find a way to put them to use.
