Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software systems that enable the first platform to codify the theory of mechanical engineering.

  • Leveraging AWS to build out our APIs, data model, authorization, and other infrastructure

  • Building out and streamlining our frontend infrastructure

  • Implementing and maintaining our React web forms

  • Collaborating with other engineers to create a seamless integration with the computational backend

  • Creating a best-in-class user experience for our prospects and customers

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with full stack development and web based application development

  • Expert-level knowledge of React, Jest, and Tailwind

  • Expert-level knowledge of the AWS stack: EC2, AppSync, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Amplify, and GraphQL

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and identify key technical deficiencies

Nice to have

  • Background in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering

  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive industries

  • Familiarity with Three.js and other web-based 3D modeling frameworks

  • Familiarity with aesthetic design principles for frontend development

  • Previous work experience in an early stage startup

  • Experience running a team
