As Lead front-end developer, you will join a growing software organization and take ownership of the front end of our medical imaging web solution as we approach market release and CE labeling.

You will also ensure version control of early software installations at hospitals and provide upgrades for deployed software.

We aim to build up a strong in-house software organization as we set out to innovate and refine our current solutions as we set our aims at 2.0!

The Team

The team consists of Java developers, MATLAB developers, frontend developers, an infrastructure team (CI/CD), and an architect.

Work with an international team of Java, MATLAB, and frontend developers, as well as CI/CD specialists and an architect, and you will be the mentor and guide for a junior frontend developer and consultants without headcount responsibilities.

The team is located in Spain, Denmark, and Hungary, so you will frequently join meetings using Teams during normal working hours.

The position will be hybrid, with an expected 2-3 days at the office in Hørsholm a week.

Key responsibilities:

• Led the technical design and development of the front end of the web application.

• Design decisions that support the expansion of the system with future functionality.

• Development and testing of the front end.

• Documentation of frontend design

• Integration and system testing

• Guide and assist junior front-end developers.

• Collaborate with UX and usability engineering to enhance user experience.

Requirements:

• +5 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer.

• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js

• Fluent in English.

Bonus if you have experience with:

• Experience with test framework (e.g., Playwright).

• Experience developing software for medical devices

• Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceuticals, aviation, banking).

• Knowledge of Web components, WebSocket communication, stencil, lit, react, or similar frameworks.

• Experience with three.js & d3.js or other 3D visualization software

• Able to build and maintain npm packages.

• Experience with LitElement
