JavaScript Developer

In the last few years, our team has experienced substantial growth, now boasting a robust team of 40 talented individuals. Currently, we are actively seeking a skilled and experienced medior or senior developer to work on a very diverse set of our in house projects.

We realise we’re on the lookout for a unicorn, but here goes nothing…

Most of the projects we do require you to work on B2B applications leveraging JavaScript, both on the front- and the backend. For this role we’re looking for someone who does both sides at least equally well or has a slight preference for the frontend. Having some relevant experience in backend (JavaScript) is still necessary to achieve our goals. Devops-knowledge (like some configuration on AWS or Azure) is a nice plus.

Next to our “normal” projects we also do some more experimental and/or creative development, involving things like Unity, WebGL, 3D modelling, and LLM-integrations. Knowledge of Python and C# can make your profile stand out. Having an open mindset and a “can do” mentality does the job as well.

Most of all, we’re looking for a “team fit”. We are looking for someone who prioritises long term over short term. Someone with a mind of their own but enough common sense to empathise with our client's context and the ability to adapt our proposals accordingly. A person with eagerness to make our company a great place to work for everyone on board and, obviously, a great partner for our clients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web application development using JavaScript and Node.js.

• Strong knowledge of web development technologies, frameworks, and databases.

• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.

• Experience with Unity, WebGL, LLM’s are a plus.

• Knowledge of Python and/or C# is a plus.

• Effective problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.

• Based in Belgium.

• Comprehension on dutch on a C1/C2-level
